Visiting Scotland

Although you can fly internationally into Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Inverness, or Glasgow, taking a train from London to Edinburgh is an exciting introduction to Scotland’s breathtaking landscape. (Of course, you’ll probably want a visit to London too!)

The Cities

While spending time in the bustling cities such as Edinburgh or Glasgow, you’ll definitely want to take advantage of the public transportation. The cities are very easy to navigate with their bus systems. Museums, shops, the historical sites, and of course, whiskey tastings will keep you busy!

If heading to the Highlands, be sure to check out the historical sites, such as the Jacobite trail or the amazing museum at the battlefield at Culloden. Don’t forget to visit Nessie at Loch Ness.


The Scottish Islands

Visiting the islands of Scotland is yet another unique experience.  Puffins can easily be found in the Shetland islands.  The Inner and Outer Hebrides islands are still very reminiscent of the old ways in Scotland.
